Every year, the UNJiTE campaign focuses on a specific theme. This year, the United Nations marks 16 Days under the theme ‘’UNiTE! Invest to Prevent Violence against Women & Girls.
By using the #No Excuse as a slogan and hashtag, the campaign calls for financing different prevention strategies and transforming social norms to end violence against women and girls.
Gender-based violence is recognised as one of the many ‘push’ factors in Human Trafficking and Exploitation. Let’s all work together to combat gender-based violence and in so doing, have a positive impact on helping to combat human trafficking and exploitation.
