After years of suffering, she found freedom in Italy, became a nun, and dedicated her life to service and hope. Today, she is recognized as the patron saint of human trafficking survivors. Her story serves as an enduring symbol of resilience and a reminder of the urgent need to protect and support those who are vulnerable to exploitation. This day is more than a commemoration—it is a call to action. By joining in prayer and raising awareness, we stand in solidarity with survivors, advocate for systemic change, and renew our commitment to fighting human trafficking in all its forms.
