DASATT Christmas Appeal 2019 | APT Ireland

DASATT Christmas Appeal 2019

Please find below a direct appeal from Fr. Sean Cassin, which we hope
you will respond to and share widely amongst your networks and
respective congregations.
It offers us a unique possibility of hope to impact directly on the
lives of the most vulnerable with whom Fr. Cassin works.
With every good wish this ADVENT time,
Anne.
”I am an Irish Franciscan ofm and as portrayed in this weeks Irish
Catholic I am CEO of Dasatt anti-trafficking. In our appeal of last
year, the kind prayers and support of so many meant we were able to
directly intervene with 120 of the most destitute families in the Muine
fishing villages. The interventions divert their young people from
undertaking the road to enslavement as they seek a dream of paradise in
Europe UK and Ireland. The recent tragedy of the Essex container deaths
has resulted in our being inundated with such requests from families to
provide skills and training to their youth so they can stay and work
near home and family.
We send you this very brief video to plead again for your prayers and to
show how you might support us for 2020. Please click on the following
