This month’s newsletter is the first of two newsletters to focus on the grooming and trafficking of children on social media.
Under the three categories, Awareness, Advocacy and Action, the Newsletter covers topics such as ‘’Recruitment using Social media;’ covert communications by traffickers using social media; the influence of social media on children, youths and young adults formative years; how we can help teenagers and children safe by paying attention to specific behaviours; through to social media safety for children and measures to help protect children.
On page 8, you can view a short video created by the Blue Campaign on the story of Mia and how she met her trafficker and was groomed over social media.
